used to love it, got vista now and cant play anymore

How does vista stop you playing? It runs almost perfectly on Vista.

Have you set it to run as adminastrator by right clicking on the icon?

I used to own at BF2

Played it in ESL and normal for about 2 years. Had like a 2. something KD

I admit though, I miss it a lot. Sold it and my account a year or two back. I think I will have to re purchase it for sure.

Do a lot of people still play it, or have they moved onto BF2142 which is not as good??

BF2 is still going strong. I play when I can, but between here and college there's not a whole lot of time... oh, and work.

I never got into 2142. I tried the demo and didn't like the feel of it.

You can pick up BF2 and Special Forces for around $20. You can even find all the expansions with it for close to that.
