and is bf2 worth getting also, do people still play it? O_o

More play BF2 than play 2142. 2142 is nifty, but it really doesn't compare to the all-out mayhem you can have with BF2.

I actually find that 2142 to have more mayhem than BF2, but only on certain maps. Fall of Berlin gets pretty chaotic as it's mainly an infantry map.

There are more people playing BF2, but that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of 2142 players.

I say this, if you already have BF2, 2142 isn't a huge step up, but if you have neither, I think 2142 is better. I guess it comes down to taste.

2142 is awesome, its the only bf game ive played on, had it since the day it came out and i still play it everyday almost, love it

EDIT theres going to be a new map added aswell soon with the next patch, cant wait for that

I have had both of them since the days they came out and I can say that there are tons of people playing both games, so don't worry about finding populated servers. As far as BF2 goes, I started to get bored with it so I downloaded the Project Reality Mod and never went back to the vanilla. BF2142 has a little better graphics, but in my opinion I would get both.

Highway Tampa. They released it for BF2, and are making a version for 2142.
