Default Battlefield games

I always seem to be the first person to spawn then followed by someone else shortly after, is this because my pc is loading the next map quicker or is it because i customize my kit AND pick a place to spawn before the count down timer reaches zero and the game starts?

Not important ive just always wondered this, but i think its the latter myself?

I'm in the same boat you are. When I'm gaming with my clan, I'm always the first or second on the map. Several of them have computers that are faster then mine, as well as better connection speeds... I don't get it.

Its not like its just a coincidence either because this ALWAYS happens, every time i play and ive been playing for 6months.

I would post on the EA forums but i cant seem to sign up or get it to work!

Anyway im not complaining, being the first is always good because then you take your pick at what vehicle to use etc

I'm sure it's due to a number of factors...HD speed, RAM, proximity to server, connection speed, game settings, etc.

HD speed may be it, I have all 10k drives. Doesn't explain the other guys.. I wonder if everyone experiences the same thing then the server patches all the players in together.
