ok i downloaded the demo yesterday and was playing online multiplayer no probs, and there was a screen full of servers, now today i went and brought the full game, only now there seems to be no servers to connect to? is it just that nobody is online playing or am i misssing something

I suspect you probably have a software firewall. It probably doesn't have permissions set up to have BF2142 connect to the servers.

Double-check your firewall settings to make sure that it is set to allow the full version and not just the demo.

Thanks for your reply but i found the problem, i hadnt installed any patches until my friend gave me the link.
