Any Fallout Tactics guru's here?

Maybe I don't need a guru, but I can't figure this out even after scourging Google. My hummer has broke down to a point of not being able to repair by normal means. I got ambushed by 15+ super mutants and the hummer really stood no chance. After the fight I saved the game over my previous one and now can't revert back to where I was. When I leave the area, it still leaves a little blip on the world map indicating where my hummer is, like I can still go back and repair it somehow. Is there some way I can actually repair it so I can start driving it again?
