I ordered mine through Amazon and they emailed me the code and link to register.

A friend of mine ordered from gamestop and when he asked about it they didn't have a clue. I heard somewhere that within the next week or two they'll be getting the pre-order packets in so he's going to stop by this weekend and check with them again.

Hmm, sounds like i'll need to go the Amazon route then. Since gamestop doesnt have any CE left, at least not listed on their website.

It should require a bit more muscle than World of Warcrack.

warcrack! man i lold. yeah the system requirements are gonna be a bit higher up there.

Minimum configuration:
(1024x768, detail reduced)

OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz or equivalent
RAM: 1GB
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better
Video memory: 128MB
DVD-ROM: Quad-speed (4x) DVD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE SPACE: 30GB
Recommended configuration:

(Up to 1280X960, most features on)

OS: Windows XP SP 2 or Windows Vista
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or equivalent
RAM: 2048MB Dual Channel DDR2
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX or equivalent
Video memory: 512MB
DVD-ROM: Quad-speed (4x) DVD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE SPACE: 30GB
Online Gaming

Broadband connection required.

id reccommend a cheap 8800 for anything over 1280x1024 if their spec requirements are accurate.

what about a 9600GT? I know they are often compared, but would that card be more than enough to make the game run smooth. i don't need the graphics turned to max for everything.

If I just had a core 2 duo 2.4 2mb cache, even though it is listed in the recommended system, do you think that would be good enough for smooth gameplay on low settings at least?

I just want to be sure so I don't invest in a game that will run choppy. Also I haven't purchased my new system yet and I would like to play this game so I want to make sure that the parts I am going to get will handle this game.

30GB's of hard drive space , that's like the most a PC game has ever needed of what I can recall...
