This is lookin pretty good. Which could turn out bad for my ffxi career. Also having it aimed at a more mature audience will be really gratifying if paren't do their jobs and tell not let the little brats play XD no offence to anyone under 18 of course. I know some 16yo more mature than some 25yo. but thats not the VAST majority. *looks at wow*

in fact this game troubles me a bit. if its half as good as it looks to be i'm gonna have a lousy 8 hours a day at work waiting to come home and play heh. such an addictive personality...

According to the game's director, the recommended specs are a 7900 GTX, 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo, and 2 GB RAM. According to Funcom, a three or four year old high end PC will be happy. I'm glad the req's are high, but i feel bad for all my friends who will have to upgrade their PC to play it.

i'm lovin the high spec req. if i'm intending to easily put 1000+ hours into a game I hope its pretty.

on that note NA censorship at its finest cuts out most nudity from the NA release it seems.
I swear one of these days i'm moving to europe. Canada is great but things are getting way out of hand, im 22 years old, i can buy porn, you're saying i can't look at rendered nudity in an 18+ rated game? lmao hollywood makes things much worse than any game dev could release.
Parents need to enforce their children, not censorship.

That being said someone might find a way around that after its been out for a while. Not that its a huge deal at all. i'd rather oogle a real person. I'm just mad at the whole idea of it XD

Of course i feel bad for germany. They got it worse than everyone. No nudity and very little violence/no extreme fatalities. They basically turned it into a teen rating lol.

on a side note, unfortunately after high school most of my buddies moved across country so the only gamers I know irl are at work. And they are all WoW addicts. So i'll be making some new friends lol. Maybe try to prey some of my FFXI buddies away from that and into AoC.
I think i'll pre-order this so I can start on fresh ground with everyone else. I hate jumping into an mmo after its been out for years, like ffxi.

also if you pre order it you get a free mammoth mount, and did i mention there is mounted combat! so you can trample people over in PvP with your Mammoth.
Also there has been a lot of talk with dev's about increasing the rating of the game to include nudity. They really are aiming to target adults with this game, It wont draw the same numbers as WoW so you cant call it a possible WoW killer, but i think it will be a better overall game, for us adults, lol.

i spent all day before work watching every interview and vid i could find haha. man it looks wicked. yeah it did achieve an M rating which is nice. Europe has full access to all its bloody nude gore. Apparently they're still tryign to fight with NA because the jerk americans want to censor some of the nudity from an 18+ game. Germany got screwed.
I'm gonna preorder as soon as i got the cash. I think I might splurge on the special edition because by the looks of this the game will take over my life heh. Time will be spent working, driving new car and playing conan XD

now if only i can win the lotto and quit my job to be some computer geek in his basement for a few years. would be nice to forget about reality haha

looked over the classes yet? I think i'm gonna do the usual and go straight melee. I was looking at the guardian, but after havign done lots of 'tanking' in ffxi I think I might just go barbarian for straight DPS madness. Tanking is kindof a pain. I will miss not beign able to wear heavy armor. I don't want to stare at a muscle filled loincloth for the rest of my natural gaming life.

Hopefully the female barbarian isn't too butch, i might have to be a tranny hahahaha.

I signed up for the beta just in case. Might still be able to make it into one of the phases. even if it's stress testing. my pc would be good for that. of course there's the other 500 000 people signed up that i have to compete with but hey you never know. hahahaha

Being a tank might still be fun, as tanking in this game will be very different form any other, with the revolutionary shielding tactics and mele systems. They will also be opening up many more beta spots as the game comes closer to release date. Im worried about the Sieging because i don't know how they plan to work around the hardcore guilds vs the casual ones. If some Guild plays 24/7 and attacks all the small guilds cities, where would be the fun in that? I'm, just gonna solo and be the servers best mercenary, if they plan to keep the mercenary system in play. Then all the guilds can hire me fore gold to hunt down and kill certain people.

They have a new Game trailer at IGN now for this, also all you hoping to get into the Beta check out the official forums, all you have to do is pray to the gods of AoC and you might get your prayers answered with a beta key, lol. seriously they ask you to pray to the gods and they choose the most elaborate prayers to get selected into the beta.
