Talking 180 degree vision in gaming...check this out!

Wow...so i just stumbled upon this, and its friggin mean az!. Well basically it allows gamers to experience 180 degree angle of playing field when gaming. meh i cant explain properly so see for your self.

See the video on the home page. theres another under "gallery"
jDome - Start

man i really hope this guy gets this "jdome" going. The only thing that bothers me, is that the image sometimes seems to sort of "bend in the direction viewing" when you move around....if he gets that fixed this thing would be awesome

That is pretty cool.. I think I could live with the distortion for the price. The only other thing similar was the seizure inducing multi monitor setup by alienware. lol

wow, very nice! I'll admit for what it is, it IS far overpriced, but hey, it's not like its THAT much money anyway (luckily for those of us who don't have jobs).
This looks like a good solution to the 'surround gaming' problem. The only thing I'd want to test is exactly how much distortion is happening nearer the edges.

It's way too distortive and it gives me a headache from the video. I don't know, I don't find it that appealing.

He stands up the whole time in the video too. That's no fun. :\

Ya, I was thinking about that afterwards. You do have to buy a projector too.
