Pro Gaming League?

What is your opinion of the potential for the pro gaming league?

To me, this is the worse idea since MTG tournaments.

Why not... they have eveyother type of tournament and A LOT less interesting ones at that.

I don't care for tournaments myself. I only play games like MTG for fun and entertainment.

they used to have mario and tetris tournamnets (remember the old 80s movie where the "bad guy" kid had the nintendo glove controller and was kickin some serious @$$ at mario 1?)it would be so cool to be able to make money playing video games

**** yeah. that was Fred Savage (wonder years fame) playing Mario 3 with the power glove. Forgot the name of the flick though.

On topic, I don't know how well this will take off, but if it works and keeps kids off of crack, I'm all for it.
