Dont know if this was already posted, but this looks kinda cool, anyone send in their console yet? becaus im thinking of buying my GF a purple PS3 for christmas. Anayways you can customize the color of your console, although for 99$

Unless you have parkinsons, sandpaper and the right spray paint does fine. $10 vs $99 (plus tax and handling I bet).

some enamel spray paint some sand paper and masking tape and your good to go (filtered mask recommended when sanding)
