| ok this thread looks confusing lets see if this can be worked out try these few things first put the red, blue, green, yellow and white into 1 of component slots, there should be 1 red 1 left that connected to the white and yellow wire, test it with the switch on hdtv if it workes good second take the yellow and white wire out and see is there is a space for them in the surround sound, should be a controller box where like you plug a optic cable and these in third if i rember properly there should be a optic cable connector on the base of the wire, just optic wire that in to surround sound and take out yellow and white wire if they fail take photos of the back or your tv and photos of the surround sound hub se we ca see what your looking at
