bah, HL2 in my mind is just like 'eh at this point. They took so much **** time to even get here in the first place, and then the whole source code stealing episode they made it out like that guy was satan himself when really the guy did the gaming community a great justice by exposing the lies that HL2 developers were giving us like unscripted AI actions turned out to be scripted and the guy who stole it even said 'They are nowhere near done with this game and more than likely will use this stealing of the code to even further delay the release' and a couple months ago I remember hearing about the guy or people involved were being arrested. I'm more ****ed off at valve bs'ing about the AI and taking so **** long to release this when it already doesn't look as good as doom, but it'll sure be fun to blast out some weapons on the streets

Hey Nubius - Is that an actual fact? Half-life 2 really has script based AI?...?

Agex000 - No I don't know if its a fact now, the source code was stolen a while ago. What happened was they showed a clip of an enemy running into a room, closing the door and sliding a table infront of the door and they said that wasn't scripted, it was all the AI, the guy stole the code and checked it out and saw that that was complete BS and the guy was indeed SCRIPTED to move the table there. Sooo its been a while since all that so lets hope its not script based and they just said it cause they needed more time to perfect it and threw in a script in the last minute or something who knows
