| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? yes, 10 and before (I really didn't care for X2, but for different reasons). My favorite Final Fantasy was US2, though that could just be an association with a generally good time in my life (great lazy summer) |

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? Unfortunately, it seems RPG as a genre is dying, giving birth to MMORPGs...I for one am not happy about this.

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? I think it's still a viable market... but convincing the manufacturers of that may be a different story. |

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? Well, we'll always have final fantasy at least, even if they are taking forever to bring them out now.

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? So, I really want to play a good turn based RPG that I haven't played before. With the exception of FF9 I've played all the Final Fantasy games. Dragon Warrior of course, and Chrono Trigger. Name your favorites and what system they are for. |

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? Even though i only got 3/4 of the way through, I thought Legend of Dragoon on ps1 was a good game. I would recommend the star ocean games to you, but they're not exactly turn-based. Some people like the shadowhearts games. There are three, and they are all on ps2.

| Re: Anybody else a hardcore RPGer? Yeah, it was able to hold my attention much longer than ff7, but, then again, I was much younger when I was playing Dragoon.
