Yeah, and some people aren't aware of Google. Yet TF still pushes it on newcomers here to Google it, don't they?

EDIT: I think the single biggest reason people quit Linux is they learn Windows or Apple products first, then find the relatively cryptic ways (some distros more than others) of Linux a bit daunting. I myself am taking it slow, just reading out of book, posting here, etc. A lot of people want the immediacy of what computers offer, and so they stay with the familiar.

In other words, until people grow up using Linux, the trends probably won't change too much.
