Default zune 80gb video encoding.

Well i whent and purchased a zune gen 2 80gb player yesterday, before seing batman. I've been a zune fan for a very long time now, but never been able to purchase one due to availability in canada, and they have finaly been released in canada. Allready they have a larger accesorie section in futureshop then the ipod does. Now my question is; what is a reliable, free video encoding software that will let me to convert to mp4, alowing me to put movies on my zune. Preferably i would like a gpu encoding one as i have an 8800gts g92, and it will most likely convert faster then my 3.7ghz quad, from what i have herd of about gpu video encoding.
my zune also supports, H.264, and wmv, aswell as mp4.

also is there any free software anyone knows of so i can rip my dvd's to put on my zune?

Hello,

I dont know of free but this is the best software i have used to encode for my Zune.

Cucusoft DVD to ipod, Best Converter for iPod,iPhone,Zune,PSP,DVD

There are a bunch of mp4 converters on Google. But i would say you would be better off going with Cucusoft as it is the best.

Cheers,
Mak

Hello,

The stickied thread has that answer. Just rip it then use that software to convert it.

Cheers,
Mak

I don't know if it supports gpu encoding, but this program fits all your other needs/wants.

The only program that supports gpu encoding is badaboom media converter, which is made specifically for nvidia boards.
