Default VLC Media Player

I downloaded a movie and it was a BIN file..and i use VLC Media player to watch BIN files. I downloaded it off a torrent site..so once it had completed it went into my 'shared' files and it wasn't just the movie by itself..it was in a folder with other stuff, like a text document explaining the details of the movie and a small sample..which i could veiw with WMP. So i played the movie...made sure it was ok ect and decided to copy it and delete the whole folder because there was just garbage in it i didnt need. After i done that, i played the movie again but there was no sound...weird!??

Have i totally screwed up or is there anything i can do?

Help would be appreciated, cheers.

Perhaps. I have never tried to play BIN files in VLC, but the other "garbage" in the folder must of had some info on the soundtrack. The only way to know is to restore the deleted files.
