i think the only usefull thing in that would be the microphone feature.. becuase all the other options are available via sound card (xfi)
i imagine that the features wouldnt sound that good becuase its using software not hardware
Good. I Hate the uneven sound of my bootleg cable box(especially between commercials and the people's court tv show). it not as bad when I switch back to my regular cable (not as many channels)

I think it would sound just fine, however I can see that using quite a bit of cpu power. I imagine with all of the new enhancements a dual or quad core chip will be very usefull for keeping the system happy while doing everything at once.
