I have a Sony Handy Cam, with Digital 8 tapes. No computer hookup what so ever, however I have auxilary Video and audio out for it. Is there a card or something that I can by for my comp CHEAP to hook this up and record on to my computer what I have recorded on to my camera.???? My system specs are in my sig below.

You'll need a PCI video capture card, like the ones pinnaclesys sell. Most video capture cards come with software for you to record an input.
Nearly all video capture cards have composite inputs (a yellow plug), no doubt your camera most probably has a composite output. Make note of the required ports before purchasing a capture card.

I think Alvin summed it up well. You'll need an analog capture card thats eigther internal (PCI) or external (USB). It needs to be analog (RCA) rather than a digital (firewire). Pinnacle's card is $80 and can be found here
