Default VHS to computer?

What can I buy that will transfer stuff on VHS tapes to my computer? I don't have a working VCR anymore and I have so many VHS tapes that I really want to digitize so I can enjoy them again.

Well first you would need a working VCR to play the tapes. Then you can work on getting it hooked up to your PC.

Mak is right, you need something that can play the VHS tapes first
then you'd need something like this
DIAMOND One Touch Video Capture USB 2.0 VC500 USB 2.0 Interface
to connect the VCR to your computer

I use media center and gigapocket. buy a toshiba vcr to play your movies as it doesn't have macrovision (you can legally record vhs as it's not included in the digital millennium copying act) in it

Approximatly one month ago I was at Target where I picked up a four head VHS for approximatly $15 with all of the modern cable connectors and it was half the size of my old one. I am using this one to play all of the old VHS tapes for my son while the DVD plays all of the new movies. I would recommend that you check with Target.
