Default Using my PC monitor for more than my PC

Not too sure if this is the right forum since its a kind of a broad statement, so bear with me.

My TV broke. I don't have cable so I'm not missing much except my backlog of DVDs and video games.

I don't have enough money to go right out and replace my TV for one of a decent size just yet plus I want to wait untill HD sets are a bit more affordable. How ever I recently recieved a 20.1" widescreen PC monitor as a graduation gift. To put it simply, how would I go about to getting my DVD player and video game systems to work on my PC Monitor? I heard about TV turner cards for PCs but after looking it up there seems to be a definate lag to getting the controller movements to the screen. Also I plan on buying a Nintendo Wii soon and would hope that if there is a solution it could work with it too.

Do I have any other options? Any help would be apreciated.

Hello,

You could use a VGA Scan Converter to be able to use your LCD monitor as a TV display without the requirement of a PC.

What LCD widescreen monitor do you have exactly (what inputs does it support)?
