Default Static From Mic

hey guys when i talk on my mic to play games or chatting it works for abit then it will go all static for some reason then work agian. I donno why, ive tried like 3 different mics. Even when i have no mic plugged in and i go to sound recored and press record and still records all static?

any no how i can fix it??

Hello,

It is most probably interference from within your computer's circuitry.

Try disabling mic boost, or an option like 'output mic audio to speakers', if applicable, and see if there is no interference. Also, if you are connecting to a front panel header mic port on the front of your PC, try hooking it to the I/O mic port instead.
