Okay now let me see if i got this right...

You have front ports that dont work. What about the ports on the back? Have you tried them? Have you made sure that the cables for the front ports are all connected to the mother board correctly?

Have you checked for updated drivers?

You should have a program that manages sound, I have SoundMax, in there, there should be an option to set up sound devices...

Try that if it's there.

Otherwise, idk.

Just because you got it a few weeks ago doesnt mean you have the most recent driver....

Windows does not update drivers when it updates. You also didnt answer if the front panel was hooked up correctly.

the front panel was hooked up correctly and nothing wrong with an interresting thing i found today is if i am connecting 5.1 woofer or higher than that in ne of the panels its working perfectly fine....
only the 2.1 is giving a problem...

i have realtech hd audio manager in which it reckons the woofer if i connect in back port but doesnt reckon the woofer if connected in front port

Maybe the front panel is only stereo and can not handle the Sub?

It could be driver related. I asked several posts ago if you checked for updated drivers. You only said that you got the system a few weeks ago. When i said that doesnt mean you have the latest driver you never responded if you checked for updated drivers.
