Sorry for the delay, i was changing isp's to tiscali and for some stupid reason they had to clear the line . . .

anyway, down to business. . .
i have since removed the front audio card * thing * and still my sound is affected, i have tested the speakers on other pc's and theyre fine so i know its not them, i now have pictures too, so, for those who need them, here you go

we will have to put jumper pins on the back to change it out back to notmal. what the mobo's or computer's name

the pc is a:
patriot c2640
intel celeron (FSB400)
256mb DDR
on board sis651 i wanna better graphics card and cpu haha

its a pc my dad baught arround 3-5 years ago so im glad its made it this far and im going to start to build my own pc with the aid of this site when i manage to get some cash. . . .

not to sure what you mean by mobo . . . please could you let me know,

mobo = motherboard

here's is my motherboard. I would have to take pins (jumpers) out and plug the front part in to use front panel audio. to use back panel audio I would reverse the instructions and put the pins back in





your mobo might be different though, that's why we need the name. you can try putting pins on 5-6 and 9-10 and see if that works
