Default Soundcard not working on Dell Dimension 8100...

Hello! I need help with my Dell Dimension 8100. It has a Voyetra Santa Cruz Turtle Beach soundcard, but I can't get any WAV files to work. When I click "Sounds and Audio Devices" in the Control Panel, it says I have no Audio Device setup. I downloaded all drivers for this from the Santa Cruz website, but I don't think it works because it was a for-Dell type soundcard (came with purchase). I currently have Windows XP, (SP2), and I have enough knowledge to take apart my computer safely and reseat soundcard or do whatever is needed. Can anybody help?

Specs again:

Dell Dimension 8100
Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
Pentium 4

And I cannot find an audio device. Currently, can't find any installation CD's, but I can try harder if needed.

Thank you!

Phone dell and ask them to send you the driver. I find that they have excellent customer service.

Will they be willing to? My Dell is refurbished, and I doubt it still has a warranty...

But thanks for the help!

cough dell sucks cough...

anyways, you should get a new soundcard, as turtle beach isn't the best of brands. Go for sound blaster.
