hello

here's my weird story, which quite freaked me out at the moment...

5am i get home from a lanparty, turn on my home pc, with a 5,1 logitech suround set.
so i press the powerbutton on my pc, hit powerbutton on the speaker set, turn the sound totaly low. since i find the windows log on sound annoing. and i really dont wanna make alot noise at this time of day.

and i am hearing voices, first offcourse think the obvious.. must be my mp3player which is still on, search my desk.. but no mp3player here...
i locate the sound comming from my speakers, which i have turned down to zero o_O

not really disturbing so far, must be the wiring catching on to some radiostation frequancy stuff and softly making the noice from my speakers... but the voices i hear are chinese, and i live in the netherlands.
i doubt any chinese radio station could get its waves over here strong enough to make my speaker wiring pick them up and produce sound from my speakers.

(almost 100% sure its chinese, i have some chinese people on my msn and they tried to teach me chinese)

now i have done some testing, and when i turn my volume either completly off, or full on
i hear the sound
(mechanicaly on the speaker controle, not in my software on pc)

now my question, does anybody have a rational explanation for this?

sorry for the borring long story ( which if i post on a paranomal website probably gives alot of people reasons to think its a ghost or so)
but really hope you can help me on this

greets

Shrinpower

okay, 6 hours later i turn pc on again its normal as ever no sounds

a friend of mine thinks its radiowaves that bounced around the world, that watery clouds were at some optimal level to let the waves reach me here

i really hope i can have the same thing again. then ill record the whole thing in stead of only 45seconds of it

still anybody other idea,s then radiowave bouncing of clouds from china to western europe?
(i googled, and no chinese radiostations near me )

it is radio interference. It can happen to any speakers if the shielding is weak and the signal is strong enough.

No way around it except to move them elsewhere or put some stronger shielding around the cables.
