| Super Techie | You have to look inside your computer. If you have a physical sound card, then you have to remove it...and look for a stamping on the silicon that either has make and model....or just model....or some other numbering or id....which you will have to google to get a full ID..... If its built into your motherboard.....its a good chance its AC97...but you can always find your motherboard stamping or manufacturer....and then get a driver from them.... If the driver is out-of-print....which is a rarity.... driverguide should have them...registration is free but you get spammed so use an email address that you do have access to but you dont care about....like a hotmail... Beware of scammers that want you to pay large sums of money for drivers out of print.... |
