| Hey guys I just ordered this web cam from Newegg: Newegg.com - Logitech 640 x 480 30fps USB Interface QuickCam Messenger XP WebCam-White Box - OEM Now I'm wondering what a good software is where I can use this web cam to record movies onto my hard drive? My friend recommended Quicktime pro, what do you guys think? |

| The Logitech QuickCam software comes with a movie recorder although it's not too great. Quicktime is good enough for that camera. A camera with that resolution won't have any kind of amazing movie quality. I would stick to the free versions of movie software. To do basic editing just use MovieMaker or something along that line. |
