You really shouldn't mention such earbuds for a newcomer, they are good don't get me wrong. But some people really disslike them.

Easy to listen to headphones, that dont require you to actually listen (you wont know what i mean untill you here some demanding headphones). Brands like Audio Technica, Sennheiser are good for this.

Try the audio technica ATH-CK7, i personall favourite for cheep headphones.

well i just find them for $50 at

Audio Technica ATH-CK7 In-Ear Titanium Headphones - Mobile-B..

is this a reputable site or are they gonna be all messed up

Thats extremely cheep, probably messed up. I wouldn't do it.

Newegg.com - audio-technica ATH-CK7 3.5mm Connector Canal Headphone/Headset

Ignore any bad reviews, them people are either comparing them to more expensive headphones or are plain stupid. I've probably herd over 100 headphones and owned 50, they are good - trust me.
