Default SB audigy plat. to HT Problem

I have a Audigy platinum 2 hooked up to my home theater system and everything sounds great except for EAX games. I get a muffled sound out of the center channel and no sound from the rears. I have it hooked up through the opticle out and the settings are set for 5.1. Also when I go to speaker settings and test the speakers no sound comes from the center or the rears. DVD's and other games work fine. Any suggestions?

I'm fairly sure that a system's sound has to be set up for Surround(I mean the game or dvd or whatever) otherwise it'd be just like attaching 5 speakers and a subwoofer up and locating them around the room....not the same thing (although this doesn't sound like the problem) Update your drivers and then play around with the speaker settings and speaker diagnostics that came with the Audigy.....
