Question Removing Tape from Panasonic GS250

I dropped my Digital Camcorder into a Creek! No power. I would like to salvage the tape before sending in for repair. How do I remove the Tape when the camcorder won't power up?

Push the eject button?

Oh it won't power up. Try and find a small small hole, about the size of the wire of a paper clip. It should be near the door that opens to release the tape. You should be able to straighten a paper clip and stick it in the hole, this will hopefully open the door.
