Post Recording a VHS Tape onto a Computer

I'm looking for a software / hardware that will allow me to play a VHS tape on my computer and still be able to freeze and caputure the picture from the VHS Tape.

Example: I need to view a VHS tape on a bank robbery and then be able to freeze the image and capture the still image so it can be printed.

Thanks,

J. Fuller
