I've had this problem once before and if possible don't want it to happen again.

In Windows Media Player when you either get the information for a CD online or you enter it yourself does anyone know where it stores that information as I would like to back it up?

A while back I had to reinstall everything on my computer and consequently lost all the data for the CDs and so had to input all the details for them all again. Luckily most of them had data available from Windows Media Player's online service but it did still take a long time to get all the information back for the CDs.

Based on this and the fact you can see the information when you are not connected to the internet I am guessing that it must store all your CD details somewhere on your local computer.

Does anyone know where it stores that information please or can give me any ideas how to back up that information?
