Question A Question About My DVD Burner

Hey all, I figured I'd come here and ask this since maybe someone would either know the answer, or where to get one for this.... I would go to that entrenched board, but I can't remember my logon info, so screw it...

Anyhow, some of you may know that I own a Lite-On DVD burner which is external for my PC.... I experimented in burning my AVI movie files to blank DVD's using some software I was able to get off of Klite, I was able to make the burn but the movies played like **** on my home DVD player.... So I've hardly used it because it's a pain in the *** to go through all the trouble of it, just to getta **** result....

Anyway, I've got about 16 VHS tapes that I want to burn to blank DVD's, and without going out and buying an actual DVD home Recorder, I wondered if anyone knows if it's possible for me to hook up my External PC Burner to my TV/VCR (my VCR is part of my TV actually) and burn my VHS's onto blank DVD's?

I'm kinda doubting it, but it would be kool to find out, so my DVD-Burner purchase isn't a complete waste (and it's still not, cuz it can still burn information DVD with files) and CD's as well....

Anyone know if I can, or where I can find out that'd be great! Thanks

You can't connect it straight to your burner but you can get a special lead and software for you to connect it to your pc and then you could burn it onto you DVD writer.

Unfortunately I don't know who sells them but if I find out I'll let you know asap.
