Arrow Question about headsets and volume

Does listening to your headset loud mess them up? Kill them faster?

I'm listening to music and everything sounds great with a new headset I bought, but I'm concerned that this might mess them up since I've blown (I think) iPod headphones

So can anyone help me out? Greatly appreciated

If it matters I have the Fatal1ty headset

If you are playing headsets loud enough to blow them up, imagine the damage that you are doing to your eardrums. Easy to laugh off now as I did when I was younger and played in bands with amplifiers, etc. Not so funny now as I struggle to hear conversations in busy areas. The worst thing is that my teenage daughter, who loves her iPod, already has worse hearing than me. I am afraid that in 15-20 years, we are going to have A LOT of hearing impaired people everywhere. /end rant

A good set of cans can be played at high volumes and not blow.

Nah, i wouldn't be worried. As quick as we go death technology to make us undeath and able to hear will advance twice as quick.

Don't worry.

If they blow... they really are terrible.
