I am posting this in the introduction thread because I recently registered and tried to post in other forums and access was denied...

I want to project words onto a screen by way of an LCD projector through a computer. I am currently trying to do it with powerpoint. I don't want the square screen that it projects, however. I am projecting words onto a screen in a theatre, and there are different coloured lights pointed at the screen at different times. I don't want the giant powerpoint screen projecting onto the screen, just the words. Is there anyway to do this? Or another program that I could use? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me
