Default problem with video

I have a GEForce 4 MX 440 video card (WIN XP) and i am able to clone the computer screen onto the tv.And i have taped videos from the computer many times before and now i am suddenly having problems. Everything will clone just fine, and even the video player (windows media, etc) comes up everything is fine but when i then play the video, the actual video doesn't show up on the tv, but does on the computer. I've tried different players and it's the same thing, everything but the actual video shows up on the tv. It used to work,so i don't know what happened. Any ideas??

Yawn......................sorry its late here in the UK (00.45)

Make the TV the PRIMARY display and the pc monitor the Secondary (apply the changes). Macrovision/XP/DRM etc. will not allow more than one display at a time to show video files.

Got it working!
As i was playing around with settings and trying to get it working,i think i made things worse. lol
So what i finally did (and should've done in the first place) was do a system restore. I went back to a checkpoint in July (around the time i last did the tv/computer thing) and once it restored from that point it was all back the way it last was and worked again.
so i have no idea what changed it in the first place, but i'm just glad restore worked.
