Exclamation Problem with MPEG 2 file!!!

Hello,

I transferred a few video files from my Panasonic video camera. They are in .mpg format. I can play two of the 3 files and use them in windows movie maker but I can't do that with one of them. I can't forward, rewind or use it in windows movie maker or play the whole thing. It's an hour and a half long but only plays for twenty minutes .. its a 4 gb file. I've tried so many softwares to split it but they say source is invalid. I've tried using video edit magic but it doesn't read the file type. I tried super but I don't think its working either. Please help! I want to edit the file and burn it to a dvd. I've been trying to fix this problem for the last 3 days insanely. AHHH

Default Re: Problem with MPEG 2 file!!!

Hello,

Sorry to say but it sounds as if the file is corrupted. If the source is considered invalid that is a bad sign that the file got corrupted somewhere along the line.

Cheers,
Mak
