Default Please Help Noob

My Friend put some audio files on my flash drive for me. Unfortunately I am unable to play them because windows does not know the program that created the files. It appears they are M4a files. Can someone tell me what I need to do to convert these to playable files.

use Zamzar to convert them individually to mp3's.

or download itunes, it plays them.

Thanks Peter. I actually have Itunes (sorry), but I wanted them converted to mp3's. Thanks for the help.
