Unhappy PLayability Question

Hey all,
Whenever i put a cd in and say it is burned or even an actual copy, than i will drag the cd and make a copy of it on to my computer to copy the files so that i can add them to my playlist, but if i try and play them they wont, it is like a invalid audo type or something. i Believe it is CDA and i just need to convert it or can you tell me how you do it, and what is they best way to get it from cda to mp3.
THanks

there are convertors available:

best i've used is:

Advance WMA Workshop

you can find it here:
http://www.team-mp3.com/wma/mp3_to_wma.htm

you can get 14 days trial version. but it will only change 5 files at one time.
