Default Pictures are Pink in Windows Picture/Fax Viewer

Whenever I click to view a picture in Windows Picture and Fax viewer, they are completely pink and not much of the real image is shown! I have looked on the microsoft website for help on this but I'm not sure what to delete. I have gone into the color management and all profiles but I have no idea what needs to be deleted! I'm using Windows Vista x64 with 4GB of memory and a nVIDIA card.

Does anyone have any idea what I need to delete?

Thanks

I've seen something similar happen in Windows Media Player. I would try uninstalling/reinstalling or updating.

All I did to fix the problem was update from WMP 9 to WMP 11 - I don't think Viewer really has "updates" though.

Also, you may want to try running CCleaner (it's free) - it can fix lots of little strange things like that sometimes by repairing the registry.

you could try using a different image viewer program.
I've used a few different ones, and JPEGView seems to work pretty well.
