Ok I been been having this issue for months and still dont know how to solve it my pc specs are.

PU : AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+

OS : Microsoft Windows XP Workstation 5.1 Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)


System Memory : 278380/523760 Kbytes

Hardisk Space : 98293 MBytes

Graphic Card : RADEON X850 Series

Graphic Card Driver : ati2dvag.dll ( 6.14.10.6631)

Graphic Card Memory : 254164 / 254168 Kbytes

DirectX Version : DirectX 9.0

Display Mode : 1024 x 768 (60) 32bit

Sound Card : SB Live! Audio [D000] (ctaud2k.sys)

PSU:350watts

When I'm running video's on the net(YouTube ect) or even playing online games my pc pauses in play and the sound is all wacked out this last for about 5-10seconds it's random I'm going out to BestBuy today to see if I can pick up a few items something like more RAM or even a new sound card, I dont wanna be disappointed when I purchase these items and this doesnt solve this issue also to all you ATI Radeon Users in the Catalyst control center when ever I go to 3D Preview tab this error occurs

I'm sure.. nvm mind that post After I posted that I went to bestbuy bought a new sound card and ram and the stutter problems is no more : )
