I've been BSing about getting my center channel. I was in www.audioencounter.com Saturday and they told me that Paradigm sold out to china. so most high end shop are not carrying them anymore. I had to buy the wrong color CC-290 center channel until I can find somebody who still has a Rosenut one. it don't look right but it sound amazing. Get your paradigm's now before they release the new junk

this is china. now the speaker will look pretty as most people won't know that they were made in china, but the enclosure will probably be 1/2 inch mdf or plywood like some many of these new speakers have and the sound will probably be bright and boomy and hollow (sound of thin wood) .

that sad thing about that is, sales in the USA will probably pick up and these people will think that their speakers are better than the original ones

This could be a good thing.

For a start, not many people except people that like good sound know about Paradigm. So the company that bought Paradigm probably do care, so they are not likely to make them into terrible speakers.

The speakers will become cheaper, because as we all know China produces things very cheeply. There is no stopping any chinese company making better quality speakers than those in the UK, US and Germany - just the people, but hopefully they won't get involved and leave the paradigm audio engineers to do there job. The recession would of hit companies like Paradigm hard, they may of been on the brink of collapse - this chinese company could of saved them, we just don't know.

Yeh, the chances of all that happening is slim. They probably will turn pretty bad. But you gotta keep hope.

I hope out for that when phoenix gold went under. they didn't come back up. maybe paradigm will.
