Default Not amused!

My asus xonar d2x is having teething issues as I just installed vista 32bit. It was fine in xp so this is an OS issue not hardware related and my mobo (nforce780i chipset had issues at first with this card) bios is updated past the version that had a conflict with the xonar. Youtube audio doesn't work and itunes throws a hissy fit if I change the audio channel whilst its running. Itunes will only work when in 2 audio channel mode and if changed on the fly starts playing songs (no audio going by the program display) like its fast forwarded or when in 8 channel mode it won't play at all as if its on pause. Youtube will stop the video at 3 seconds into playing if the audio channel is changed. I have solved one problem which at first was the analogue outs not working in 7.1 mode it was only playing through the front stereo speakers and not upscaling the signal..... Just stuck on this any ideas?

Been all over the asus forums looking for someone with a similar problem but it would appear that there isn't.

I had this problem where youtube wouldn't play past 3 seconds with my Logi's.

Frankly i have no idea how i fixed it, i think it just started working after a few days. I did a few things, such as making sure the azalia/realtek audio was disabled in bios. Uninstalled previous audio drivers from creative etc.

Apart from that, not to sure.. but it did sort itself out. I'll try have a look around for you.

Thanks I have had a quick google but not found anything to go on. This is a fresh install of vista so not driver problem and I have canceled it down to a firefox issue for the youtbe videos as the same vid in IE7 works with sound. I have no clue for the audio channel problem though.
