No sound PLEEEZZZE Help

I recently bought a laptop (yesterday) and it had many prgrams I did not need, so I reformated Windows (XP) on it. NOW the sound doesn't work all I hear is beeps whenever something pops up.........Any suggestions?

You need to install the drivers ... I think if you go to www.windowsupdate.com it will find the drivers you need. I think.

your laptop should have come with various disks/CD's...one should have your audio drivers on it
