Tonypagnano Newb Techie Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 2	No sound error code 8878000A Hi i recently reinstalled windows xp on my systemax computer. The speakers do not work and i dont have any cds with drivers on them. When i try to play music it gives me error code 8878000A. (bad direct sound driver) Could someone please help me solve this problem ... Tony

download new drivers for it.

Is this onboard or PCI sound card?

Tonypagnano Newb Techie Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 2	not sure ... How do i download drivers and what ones do i need. Under system information it says sound devices are via ac97 audio and uni-modem half duplex
