TRDCorolla1 is on a distinguished road

Default Newegg and Sony

I noticed that Newegg does not carry any Sony TVs at all. Why is that? They have an abundance of laptops, but no TVs? Must be some kind of contract issue with the manufacturer. I'm trying to be a loyal Newegg customer by trying to buy as much as I can from them but they're missing the Sony Bravia televisions.

Default Re: Newegg and Sony

It could be because Sony has a deal with Best Buy to sell their TV's there. It could be any number of things. It could also be that shipping a TV that isnt LCD would cost them a lot of money cause of the weight factor as well. UPS, FedEx and all that charge extra for anything over 70 LBS.

Best way would be to ask them, I think.
