Default MGEG/AVI into flash or html?

Okay is this possible? I want to import a Mpeg or AVI whatever into a flash animation or some html for a promotional CD. The cd will be self booting into flash, well I was thinking flash, perhaps directly into html? Any advice would be great.

Its been a while since i used Flash but if i remember correctly i'm sure you can import certain movie files into your flash project with the first frame of the movie being used as a button you can click on to start the movie playing. Or you can simply create a link to the movie on cd from the menu...for example clicking on the link will open up the main media player on a persons comp and the movie will start to play.

You can import the video right into flash.
