Question Looking for a great headset

Hey guys I've been looking for a great headset for gaming and listening to music. I don't need the loudest thing ever and the style doesn't count, there's so many out there I don't know where to begin.

What should I be looking out for? Can you recommend me any?

Thanks

You have a 2 options. You can get a headset that is the headphones with a pre attached mic, it's functional sounds OK and is easier.

Or you can get some headphones, and a desktop mic. The advnatages of this are that standalone headphones are likely to sound better and the microphone will be better quality, but it probably costs more and takes up space.
