Default Laptop (LCD) through TV

I just bought PC to TV sort of SCART wire with the idea I'll be able to play movies on laptop and watch then on the telly. I connected and got the actual view on TV BUT the problem is it's Black & White. Tried modifying LCD to TV options but didn't work out. Any ideas on that matter would be splendidly appreciated...?

It does have S-Video. The problem is that when the PC view pops up on the telly, it's Black & White on TV, got no colors. I tried modifyiong the preferences, but didn't work. Any ideas?
