Default Ipod Doesn't Connect

For some reason when I plug my ipod into my computer so I can add more songs to it it doesn't work. The first time I plugged it in the computer tried to read it but then it said "Device could not be identified." but now when I plug it in it doesn't seem like the computer even tries to read it. All the other devices that I plug into the USB port connect and are read just fine.

Is there anything that I can do to make my computer read my ipod?

Default Re: Ipod Doesn't Connect

I had the same/similar problem with my ipod. It had something to do with uninstalling or disabling 'apple mobile devices' either through control panel or through msconfig.

Reinstalling the latest version of Itunes should fix your problem.
